About the Farm
Grand Valley Strawberries is a Pick-Your-Own farm operated by George and Barb Neudorf. The acreage located along the Assiniboine River was purchased in 1981 and developed from a wide open grain field into a strawberry farm. The first strawberry crop was harvested in 1982. The fertile land and proximity to the city of Brandon made it an easy choice in choosing this location. The name was chosen since the land the farm is located on was part of a town site known as Grand Valley back in the 1800.
