About the Farm

   Hello everyone, Easy Pick Strawberry Farm was created after years battling growing strawberrys in the ground, due to weed pressure, berrys going rotten from laying on wet mulch, which creates a perfect conditions for disease and insect infections.

   We new there had to be a better way to create optimal growing, maintaining, and of course deluxe picking conditions. After years of brainstorming and countless late nights researching, we came up with a (Raised) strawberry u pick patch.

   Our strawberries are grown in fabric air prune pots, the porous fabric allows air to enter the root zone from all surfaces of the container. This aeration provides a healthy environment for the roots as well as support beneficial microorganisms and bacteria. The aeration provides oxygen to the roots, which is essential for the metabolic process in taking up nutrients and minerals. The bags are filled with Sandy Loam Soil/Organic Grade A Compost mix that was hauled to our farm from Portage la prairie area, since our farms soil isn’t suitable for growing. The use of Grade A Compost is that the innovative biotechnology reduces the reliance of chemical fertilizer and pesticides. The end result is a premium healthy flavourful berry. Everything is hand planted and weeded. 0 herbicides used.

   Our dream is to offer 6+acres of (Raised) strawberrys, having the berrys waste height for deluxe picking height. No more bending over for hours picking berrys. Offering the people a different experience and more convenient and fun way to pick berrys.
