About the Farm

Jeffries Berry Patch, formerly Pattern Acres, is co-owned by brothers Ernie and Roland Jeffries. They grew up on a family farm helping grow vegetables for sale through Peak of the Market. The farm has been around for over 40 years.

Ernie and Roland purchased the farm in May of 2014. The family owned business is located 8 km east of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on the south side of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Jeffries Berry Patch is situated on 64 acres of land along the Assiniboine River and harvests strawberries from 18 acres. Over the next few years, the acres will be increasing. Planting has already begun on “new ground” that has never had Strawberries before. This will increase quality and production in the coming years.
